ST KILDA PRIMARY NEEDS A SPORT & COMMUNITY HALL

Since our hall was demolished in 2020, SKPS has lacked an indoor space for PE, assemblies, and events. Imagine a vibrant hall where kids excel in sports, celebrate graduations, and the community enjoys recreational activities. Help us make this vision a reality!

Our Campaign

The SKPS Sport and Community Hall campaign seeks to secure funding for a vital indoor space that will enhance education, support community engagement, and fill the gap left by the hall’s removal.

Student Impact

With no indoor facility, students miss out on critical physical education and are limited in their ability to participate in school-wide events and activities.

Community Need

St Kilda and Balaclava have just 8 public open spaces, covering only 5% of the total land area, compared to the municipal average of 17%. This shortage is exacerbated by the lack of indoor venues, especially during inclement weather.

Local Benefits

The proposed hall will serve not only our students but also the broader community, providing a venue for art exhibitions, cultural performances, workshops, and more. This facility will foster community connections and support local events, benefiting residents of all ages and backgrounds.
